Main Tasks
Handle all payroll related matters including the weekly, monthly payroll to Staff and Non-Staff salary payment.

Payroll Officer
(Semarang)

Responsibilities:

• To manage operations, provide competent leadership; and put in place good systems support and procedures to ensure prompt/accurate payment of salaries/allowances
• To ensure prompt payment of staff salaries to all categories of staff
• To provide advice and make decision on complicated payroll cases, and ensure confidentiality of payroll data is safeguarded
• To ensure audit observations are promptly investigated and responded within the stipulated timeline
• To ensure satisfactory response is given to customers’ enquiries within the stipulated service standards
• To liaise with government officer on conducting checks in relation to all salaries matter
• To conduct business process streamlining and re-engineering for work efficiency and customers’ satisfaction
• To provide weekly, monthly payroll and manpower reports to Human Resources Manager
• To work closely with all business units to ensure accuracy of salaries and audit checks on salaries payment
• Request information regarding employee data from all divisions
• To work closely with the HR teams in the Indonesia team
• To translate all Bahasa Indonesian payroll reports to English documents
• Ad-hoc project assigned by Human Resources Manager

Requirements:

• Strong preference for candidates who are fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English language, both written and spoken
• Candidates who are willing to be based in Semarang, Indonesia
• Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Payroll or equivalent
• Good knowledge in Payroll administration and systems in Indonesia
• Good leadership skills and interpersonal skills
• Good Oral and Written communication skills
• Good working attitude, independent and able to work effectively in a team
• Good analytical, organisational and planning skills
• Strong team management and supervisory team skills
