Responsibilities:
- Make purchases for services and manage contracts of behalf of the company and the projects, optimizing costs, observing timelines and quality standards.
- Prepare instructions for deciding scope of work, buying conditions and other details.
- Contribute to defining the vendors list.
- Follow up with potential suppliers/subcontractors including conducting negotiations.
- Tabulate commercial comparisons of tenders received from suppliers/subcontractors.
- Ensure technical and economic detailed specifications are guaranteed by the suppliers as well as consistent with the bidding phase and in final contract.
- Draws up contracts, stipulates subcontract conditions and ensure that contracts are in line with company policies.
- Interfaces with the projects and the suppliers/subcontractors.
- Make periodic reports on progress of activities.
- Manage progress claims and variation orders.
- Obtain and communicate feedback on the supplies/services received.
- Diploma / Degree with more than 5 years’ similar experience.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
